All bhikkhunis and shamanis held the ritual of sweeping the ancestral pagoda and the ritual of worshiping the parents' pagoda in the main hall. The public first paid homage to the Ancestral Master Bodhisattvas, recited sutras and mantras and chanted holy names. During the recitation, the Sangha came out to offer flowers, pay three obeisances to the Ancestral Master Bodhisattvas, and expressed the wish to enlighten all sentient beings and achieve Buddhahood together. Afterward, a stick of incense was lit symbolizing heartfelt offerings to the ancestral spirits in the parents' pagoda.
