Merits of Buddha-Name Recitation: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staying away from disasters and keeping safe - Various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas protect people who recite Buddha names to stay away from all calamities, to be safe and auspicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reciting Buddha names for the extinction of sins - One recitation of the Buddha's name can exterminate the sinful deeds that bind one to births and deaths in eight billion kalpas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holding the recitation to gain blessings - The merit from one recitation of the Buddha's name is greater than that of the offering to the Buddha and arhats with seven jewels from the four continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manifesting the fruit of seeing the Buddha - The sentient beings who recite the Buddha's name shall surely manifest the fruition of seeing the Buddha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be welcomed upon birth in the Buddha Land - At the end of one's life, one shall be welcomed by manifested bodies of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas in radiant lights, to be born in the Buddha Land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
