Under her guidance, the Sangha earnestly performed the observance, praying for the compassionate blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to diligently pursue their spiritual path without demonic obstructions over the next ninety-day retreat. \n\nThey sincerely beseeched Wei Tuo Bodhisattva for protection, to shield them from inner demons to be calmed and external obstacles to be quietly dissipated. After the homage, the Sangha stepped forward to participate in the retreat ceremony.
