In the afternoon of December 13th, Michael Ritman, the president of the Dutch Buddhist Union, came to the monastery for exchange. Venerable Xian Gui introduced the recent activities of the temple and the future development plan to Ritman, who was very supportive of the development of the monastery. He did not only provide the sangha with a wide range of Buddhist resources in the Netherlands, but also expected us to  participate the joint exchange with other Dutch monasteries in the coming year, as well to organize more academic conferences on Buddhism and offer activities in English and Dutch to benefit more people.
